The Yield Enhancement Conference (YEN) for harvest 2024 took place on 21st January 2025 and our growers achieved some amazing results with the help of our products despite the difficult conditions faced last year.
Cereal:
Cereal Yield – Gold – Tim Lamyman – 15.6 t/ha
% of Potential Cereal Yield – Silver – Tim Lamyman – 71% of 22.0 t/ha
Oats:
Oats Yield – Gold – Mark Popplewell – 11.45 t/ha
Barley:
Winter Barley Yield – Gold – Tim Lamyman – 14.6 t/ha
% of Potential Winter Barley Yield – Gold – Tim Lamyman – 66% of 22 t/ha
Spring Barley Yield – Gold – Tim Lamyman – 12.9 t/ha
Mark Carter took an opportunity to speak to Mark Popplewell from Happy Days Farming about how he achieved his amazing oats result. Mark started trialling our products 4 years ago, using mainly Delta, and saw results very quickly, especially with the creation of biomass. Mark compared his oilseed rape yields on his fields that he had used Delta and those without and saw an amazing difference. Delta helped to create early roots and branching which pushed the yields higher. This is due to technology in the product that improves nitrogen use efficiency and stabilises N in the amine NH2 form which is ready for immediate use in the plant.
