Calcium, boron and nitrogen are the key to brassica nutrition


Calcium strengthens the plants cell structure by strengthening cell walls. Not only does this help the plant to resist disease, calcium also helps to protect plants from environmental stress and droughts. Boron has several functions; it reduces disorders such as tip burn and hollow heart and it also has a synergistic effect which boosts the benefits of calcium.


Brassicas also need nitrogen to maintain yield, especially when the green appearance of the crop is important. Nitrate nitrogen is one of the most readily available forms of nitrogen and the effects of applying it to your crop can be seen within a few days thanks to its very fast uptake.

With the proper application of these nutrients, you can help you crops grow stronger and healthier, delivering better yields.
