Whether you’re growing peas, beans, lentils or chickpeas, pulses have relatively simple nutritional needs compared to other crops, but they still need appropriate fertiliser throughout the life cycle. Some pulses can suffer from sulphur deficiency, in which case magnesium sulphate, calcium sulphate, potassium sulphate or elemental sulphur are required.
Following our crop guides below can help you keep your pulses well fertilised, and it can help with plant growth, reliance, root development, uniformity and yield. We recommend using NHKDelta and 1-4-All from crop emergence. When the first flowers grow, you should switch to applying NHKDelta, Rainbow Wave and Calflux. After two weeks, you should then apply CalFlux and Rainbow Wave.
Please refer to the charts below for measurements and dosage.
XStress is specially designed to minimise the negative effects of environmental stresses on your crops. Its unique blend of nutrients helps protect crop growth in extreme conditions.
Calflux is a better delivery system for calcium absorption. It allows plants to absorb and maintain calcium in parts that suffer from symptoms of calcium deficiency.
